I spent my nights cuddled up to you and your soft fur
Down in your direction I heard your pleasant purr
I looked into your eyes and saw the love there that you gave

And when you jumped into my lap to knead me with your paws
I gazed upon your wondrous self and never found any flaws
I am joyful and I'm strengthened by the love you gave to me
