It is with great sadness and with a heavy heart that I must tell you that Lilah crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 7PM last night. Her kidneys were packing up and in the past week she suddenly went totally and irrevocably blind. It was a terrible and pitiful thing to see and my husband and I took her to the vet together where she was put quietly to sleep in my arms with my husband stroking her and both of us sobbing over her poor little emaciated body. We'll miss her SO much. Last night was the hardest of all. For the first time in 18 years, I had to fall asleep without my little purring bundle behind my knees. She was a trouble maker, a thug, a Prissy Miss... a bundle of contradictions, but we loved her and we'll never get over losing her.

R.I.P Miss Priss. My Darling Lilah... my own sweet girl.
