CAT PHILES

What we humans are to Cats

Ever wondered how are Cats see us even though they love us. Here are a few answers:

  1. Our Cats see us as their servants. We protect them, feed them and generally care for them. Cats are royalty and such must be treated like royalty.

  2. Caretaker of the litterbox- Cats see us as their litterbox cleaners. We make sure their space in the bathroom is as clean as possible as well as add kitty litter to the box when it's needed.

  3. Bringers of water- We make sure they have clean water in their dish at all times and despite that, we also have to make sure we turn on the water faucet when they order us to do so.

  4. Chefs- We make sure their bowl is full of food. Cats also require that it at least tastes good.

  5. Entertainment center- We make sure the Cat has plenty of toys as well as play with them.

  6. Captain of the guard- We keep our Cats from harm and protect their castle from invaders.

  7. Scratching post- We allow our Cats to scratch us during play or balance themselves on our shoulders while they dig their claws in.

  8. Spiritual advisor- We humans like to talk to our Cats. Thus in turn they listen and are happy when we sing, play or converse with them.

  9. Food taster- Some Cats won't eat something unless we taste the food first or have been eating it to begin with. The Cats thinking is that if it's better than what they are eating then it must be good.

  10. Financial advisor- We humans must work in order to keep our Cats in the splendor in which they are accustomed. That is why we humans work and our Cats are the rulers. (Anyone who thinks that Cats don't really run the household and aren't the Kings and Queens of the realm please raise your hands.)

Anyway, these are just some of the positions in life that our Cats allow us to have. I once read that Cats see us as other Cats, so maybe that's one more honorable position we have with Cats. It's time to go. I hear my Queen calling. "Coming your majesty."
