CAT PHILES

A Cat Is...

Why You Should Not Declaw!

God gave cats claws because its right,
Humans take them away for pure spite.
No real cat-lover would ever do that,
Because it is cruel and sadistic to the cat.

When you love a creature of any breed,
You want them to have all they will need,
To live the life the Creator meant them to,
And be as happy on this earth as you.

If you have a cat and object to its claws,
Explain to me what you have it for.
Not to love, don't try to tell me that,
For one who loves wouldn't hurt a cat.

Do you know what is done to their paws,
When cruel humans a cat declaws?
They remove the first joint on each toe,
Imagine the pain the cat must under go.

It takes a long time for the paws to heal,
Days laced with agony the cat has to feel.
No cat deserves to suffer in this way,
The price in pain is far too high to pay.

If you have a cat and don't like the claws,
Find it a good home, far away from yours.
For you don't deserve the love of a cat,
In fact, you're not even worthy of a rat.

Of all the creatures God put on this earth,
The cat is the one, of greatest worth.
So if you have a cat, be sure you treat it well,
Because if you don't, I promise you'll go to Hell.
