She may have pointy ears, a long tail and can say "meow", but I have serious doubts about Widget being 100% cat. Sometimes I wonder if this is just my imagination, so I thought I'd ask the experts.

Is Widget part cat... and part D*G?

Widgets d*g-like traits:

1. She loves playing fetch.
2. She intentionally hides her toys in a hole (that she created under the sofa... very much like a dog burying its bones.
3. She growls at the door when visitors show up.
4. She is exceptionally loyal and affectionate... in a suspiciously dog like manner.
5. She is very eager to please her humans... unlike my other 8 cats.
6. She is smaller than the average cat, being the size of a Chihuahua.
7. She is as energetic as a dog and sleeps half as much as the average cat.
8. She likes sniffing the bums my other cats whenever she greets them.

Widget's cat-like traits:

1. She looks like a cat.
2. She meows.
3. She purrs.

Are my suspicions about Widget reasonable? I must confess however, that it's actually fun having a cat-dog hybrid, confusing but fun.
